Yummy Gluten Free Stuffing Waffles

Making stuffing with gluten free bread always turns into a glob of stuffing goo. I decided to make nice crispy stuffing flavoured waffles that turned out better than I thought they would.

Makes 5 waffles

2 cups gluten free flour ( or all purpose flour if you don’t want gluten free)

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp, sugar

3 tsp. poultry seasoning

2 tsp. chicken stock powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 cup of oil. (I use beef tallow just warmed enough to be liquid)

1 1/2 cups milk (can use coconut milk if lactose intolerant)

1 celery stalk chopped fine

1/4 medium onion chopped fine

1/4 bell pepper chopped fine

Combine all ingredient except last three and mix until well incorporated. Fold in vegetables and cook in waffle iron until crispy and golden. serve with fried chicken or make a nice hot turkey sandwich with them. The choices are endless. Enjoy
