Restoring Cast Iron

Restoring an old piece of Cast Iron Cookware can be tiring and a lot of work, however it is very rewarding and the finished pan will be as good if not better than anything you can buy on the market today. In the video below I restore a CSW Frying Pan made between 1927-1935. This is an 80+ year old skillet that has a machined bottom on it which means once it is fully seasoned it will be way more non stick than a modern pan with an unmachined bottom. I gave the finished pan to my daughter and hope it will become an heirloom treasured for generations to come.
